Men's Meeting

The first Men's Meeting will be held on Friday, November 9 at 7PM at Red Rose Pizza on Main Street, Springfield.    The men of the Resurrection Center will discuss topics on being men in our households and our community.  We'll all pitch in for pizza and soda.   See David Ewen if you are attending.

Women's Meeting.

Pastor Melly Martinez will be holding meetings for women that are available to attend during a late morning during the week in the .  See Pastor Melly for dates and time.

Daylight Savings Time Ends Nov 4.

Daylight Savings Time Ends on Sunday November 4th.  Remember the expression to move your clocks ahead 1 hour in spring and back 1 hour in fall ("Spring forward, fall back").   So on November 3rd, move your clock back 1 hour so you'll have an extra hour of sleep.

Feeding Those in Need For Thanksgiving

The Resurrection Center will be helping feed those in need for Thanksgiving.   The holiday is on November 22nd.     Volunteer to bring in canned food, oatmeal, powder mashed potatoes, cereal, canned ham, bottled juice every Sunday beginning Sunday October 28 through Sunday, November 18.

Toys For Christmas

Beginning Sunday December 2 through Sunday December 16, the congregation of the Resurrection Center will be supporting families in need by providing toys for their children for Christmas.    All donations will be given to Toys For Tots.    If you would like to help out all you have to do is bring a new, unwrapped toy to the service and place in the box provided.
