Pastor Jose & Melly Pray for Springfield @ March For Jesus

During today's March For Jesus, Pastor Jose & Melly Martinez prayed for the city of Springfield on the steps of City Hall along with many churches and Christians.    This video was taken with my cell phone, but it came out pretty good enough to some day be included in a TV show in Springfield.

March For Jesus

Here is the latest information about the March for Jesus that is being held on Saturday in Springfield.

• EVENT:  March For Jesus - Springfield, MA
• DATE:  Saturday, March 30, 2013
• ARRIVE:   10:30 AM
• PARK:  STCC, corner of State and Federal
• MEET:  Holy Grounds Coffee House (455 State Street) to register
• GATHER:  Assemble along both sides of State Street and on all four corners of State and Federal
• MARCH:   We march for Jesus at 11:00 AM (this is the planned start of the March)

Join us at State and Federal Streets at 10:30 AM

There is plenty of free parking for the March For Jesus available at STCC, corner of State and Federal.

After parking, come over to Holy Grounds Coffee House (455 State Street) to register and pick up your signs, balloons, buttons and bumper stickers.  Enjoy free coffee and snacks (while they last).

Assemble along both sides of State Street and on all four corners of State and Federal.  Official start time is 11 AM 

The weather looks pretty good, cloudy and low 50s, but we'll march Rain or Shine.  Prepare accordingly.

We'll march on down to City Hall, keeping to the sidewalks and obeying the traffic lights.  At City Hall, all the people will assemble on the steps, while the Pastors line up on the plaza.  After a few inspirational words by the organizers, the Pastors will take turns praying for the city.  After a closing prayer, we will disperse.

Wow! That Was Amazing

So much happened on Sunday March 10 2013 and there is a lot to show you with our videos and pictures.  One person accepted the Lord as his Savior and another is coming out with a book to share his testimony.  Also Apostle Enrique Narvaez and Pastor Lourdes Narvaez finished their stay in Massachusetts and have already returned home.  We miss them both, but look forward to seeing them again soon.

What Time Is It?

So why is David Ewen looking at his watch?  He is so silly. What is he looking at?   Let's see the big hand is on one number and the little hand is on another number.  What time is it? And the second hand is whipping around.  What time is it?   Oh wait, yes !  What time is it? This Sunday we go to Day Light Savings Time where we move the clocks forward.   It's also a good time to change the batteries in the clocks in your house.    We lose one hour of sleep, so make sure when you get up Sunday morning, you have the right time.   You cell phones, tablets, and computers will automatically change.

Fishers of Men & What People Are Talking About

God bless you.   It's me David Ewen on my knees this morning in Prayer.    One day my uncle in Florida saw me on NBC News with Brian Williams.   In the interview, I said that the "church is the people".   I had talked about the faith that builds the church.  Today, I'm reminded of the guidance that brings us to that church in Matthew 4:18-22  "And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him. And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James [the son] of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them. And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him. "

So I commit myself to be a fisher of men.    I ask others to be fishers of men.
